Today we had a Senior Portrait Session with the Davis twins – Aley and Christian – from Aliso Niguel High School. This year Aley is the ASB President and Christian is Commissioner of Staff and Relations and will also be playing volleyball and basketball.

This weekend we had the pleasure of doing a Family Portrait at St. Regis Hotel and Resort, Dana Point with the Robertson Family. They were attending their niece’s wedding that was being held there Saturday night at 5:30pm. The wedding was a black tie affair and as you can see the Robertsons were looking hot!

It was a fun family portrait shoot moving around the St Regis Hotel and Resort to several locations. The little guy was so hungry when we first started, we had to make a pit stop at the gift shop to get him some Ritz crackers. We offered him a power bar from my backpack, but he turned that down and devoured the entire box of Ritz crackers instead. Maybe they should call them Regis crackers at that hotel! We finished up with a nice family portrait in the library with the fireplace roaring in the background. By now, it was just about wedding time, but they had a few minutes to spare so we sat down and had a drink with them in the beautiful library.

The family is going to be very pleased with the results from this session. This was the first family portrait they had done in a while, and what could be a better setting than the St. Regis Hotel and Resort, Dana Point.
Last week we had a Business Portrait session with Carey Fellows using our beautiful blue gel background. Carey has been with US Bank for 16 years and is doing very well with them.

Carey is the recipient of the Summitt Award this year and was requested by US Bank to have a professional business portrait taken. He looks forward to the next big trip the bank takes him and his wife on. They have recently traveled to Florida and the Montage Resort here locally in Laguna Beach.
Wednesday night we had a great family photography session in Laguna Beach. The family was visiting all the way from Excelsior, Minnesota. Brook is a senior this year and wanted to have her senior portrait taken in Laguna Beach while visiting her home state (the 5th genertation of California natives).

It was a perfect sunset in Laguna Beach. The kids had a great time bonding tonight during their family photography session after not being together for over a year. They jumped , they laughed, and just had fun! Check out the expressions on their faces as the water came around them the first time, they were a little shocked to say the least.

All in all it was a great family photography session at Laguna Beach again this week. Look for more photos from senior beach sessions later this week.
